Note for Passengers About the New Security Measures

passengersFrom November 6, 2006, the security measures established by the European Union imposed restrictions on hand luggage of passengers on flights departing or in transit in the European states.
Products concerned:

Liquids in the cabin, liquids, aerosols, gels and pastes, water, perfumes, drinks, lotions, creams, bath gels, shampoos, mascara, soups, syrups, toothpaste, liquid soap, deodorant and any other article similar consistency.

For security checkpoints, passengers carrying such items are required to present them separately, in no more than 10 bottles or tubes of no more than 100 ml each, within a closed plastic bag (bag type freezer) of approximately 20 by 20 cm.

It allows one bag per person

It is prohibited to:

- Products in an open plastic bag or opaque.
- Stacked or overlapping products.
- Containers over 100 ml.

Permitted Exceptions:
1. Liquid medicine

- Passengers may carry liquids in the cabin drugs (insulin, syrups …) with the condition to present to security officers a license or prescription.

- There are no restrictions for solid drugs (tablets and capsules).
2. Liquid food for infants traveling

There are no restrictions for these products. Use containers that can be closed again, may be asked to try this food!

In conclusion, Royal Air Maroc invites passengers to:

Placed in the luggage in the hold will be as much as possible and keep things in hand luggage only what is absolutely indispensable for the trip.

If passengers are traveling without luggage in the hold, with hand baggage only, you must place all liquids in a plastic bag (freezer bag type) of approximately 20 x 20 cm.
