Kenroku-en Garden in Kanazawa, Japan

Kenroku-en of Japan is one of the most accurate of the country gardens and the world Japan.
Japan: The garden Kenroku-en in Kanazawa. Japan is famous for the beauty of its gardens and one of them is the Kenroku-en in Kanazawa, one of the world’s most beautiful gardens. For the Japanese is one of the three most beautiful gardens of their country on the Kairaku-on-Mito and Korakuen in Okayama.
Kenroku-word in Japanese, means “a combination of six” in reference to a famous garden of the Sung dynasty which established six attributes to attain perfection: isolation, space, artifice, antiquity, abundant water and views.
Kenroku-in is located on a hill in the center of the city of Kanazawa. It is considered one of the three most beautiful gardens in the island, along with Kairaku-in in the city of Mito and Koraku-in in the city of Okayama.
This former private garden developed from the decade from 1620 to 1840 by the Maeda clan, the daimyo who ruled the former Kaga domain was opened to the public in 1874 and is open year round during the day and known for its beauty in all stations.
The garden is located on the outskirts of Kanazawa Castle which was originally formed outside the garden, and covers 114,436.65 square meters (more than 25 acres). Began in 1676 when Mr. Maeda 5 Tsunanori moved its administration to the castle and started a garden landscape in this vicinity.
This garden was, however, destroyed by fire in 1759. Its restoration started in 1774 by Mr. Harunaga 11, which created the Emerald Cascade (Midori-taki) and Yugao-tei, a tea house. Improvements continued in 1822, when the 12 Mr Narinaga created the garden of winding streams with water extracted from the Waterway Tatsumi. On 13 Nariyasu man who subsequently added more current and expanded Kasumi Pond. With this current form of the garden was complete.
There are many points of interest within its spacious area, including Kasumi-ga-ike, a lantern-bull Kotoji only two legs in the north of the garden, and Hisago-ike, and an elaborate structure Yugao Bed- tei near the pond.

* When the cherry blossoms in Kenrokuen are in full bloom, the garden is generally open for free. Since early April.
