Taipei: this is the capital and the largest and most populous city in the country. Hence, it is the most modern and cosmopolitan island with a very large metropolitan area that accommodates more than two million people. Virtually all trips pass through Taipei – Taiwan.

The seats of government and major political institutions of the country are here but you can also find attractions like the walls and bridges survive from the nineteenth century with one of the oldest temples in Taiwan and is the Lungshan , with nearly 250 years and had to be rebuilt after the Second World War.

Inside the museums, the most important and recommended if you have decided to travel to Taiwan so far is the National Palace, located in the downtown where there is a large collection of Chinese treasures which gathers some of the most important works of art of this culture, including porcelain, carved jade pieces and paintings and many others.
